Proposed dosage
CX-109 should be added during the grinding stage when no pigment is added. The following addition amounts are based on the ratio of the solid amount of the dispersant to the amount of pigment:
Titanium dioxide: 10% based on oil absorption value, 1-3% based on pigment.
Inorganic pigments: 10% based on oil absorption value, 2-4% based on pigments.
Organic pigments: 25-50% by BET value, 15-25% by pigment.
Carbon black: 20% based on DBP value, 20-35% based on pigment.
Application area
CX-109 can be used in all solvent-based coatings as a general dispersant, ranging from high-performance industrial coatings to general decorative coatings. CX-109 can also be used in solvent-based general color pastes with low resin content.
Processing instructions
Add it before grinding and disperse it at high speed in a system with similar viscosity.
Storage and transportation
This product can be transported and stored as a non-hazardous chemical. Keep away from fire sources and store in a well-ventilated, cool and dry place. Shelf life: 36 months.
