Application area
It has low polarity and high solid content, and can be used in various solvent-based formulations. It can also be added later for batch remediation.
Processing instructions
To achieve the best performance, the additives must be added to the abrasive first, and then the pigments are put in.
Pre-mix the resin and solvent components in the grinding material, and then slowly add the additives under continuous stirring. Do not add pigments when the additives have not been fully and evenly dispersed.
When added later (to remedy problematic batches), the additive should be slowly added under high shear force.
Special attention
The post-treatment of certain organic pigments may have an adverse effect on the performance of the additive. In this case, the same type of untreated pigment can be tried. When applied to coil coatings, the interaction between this cationic additive and the acid catalyst must be taken into consideration. Free acids or epoxy-blocked acids are more suitable than amine-blocked acids.
Storage and transportation
This product should be transported and stored as a hazardous chemical. Keep away from fire sources and store in a well-ventilated, cool and dry place. Shelf life: 36 months.
When the temperature is below 0°C, stratification or turbidity may occur. Heat to 20°C and mix thoroughly before use. The color of the product may change during storage, but this phenomenon does not affect its performance.
