CX-123
CX-123 is a controlled flocculation wetting and dispersing agent for solvent-based systems. It is used to prevent the sedimentation of fillers and inorganic pigments in medium to low polarity thick coating systems and primers, as well as in the preparation of bentonite slurry.

Proposed dosage
The dosage of additives (in the form of purchase) is based on the recommended formula of bentonite slurry：
Inorganic pigments: 1-2% 85-87 by weight solvent.
Titanium dioxide/filler: 0.5-1% per 10 weight parts bentonite.
Bentonite: 30-50%, 5-3 by weight as an additive.
The solvent should be aromatic hydrocarbons or petroleum solvents containing aromatic hydrocarbons. If the gelation effect is insufficient, polar solvents can be added to enhance the gelation effect.
Application area
CX-123 is especially recommended for architectural coatings and is also suitable for coil coatings and anti-corrosion systems.
Processing instructions
To achieve the best performance, the additive should be added to the abrasive first, and then the pigment.
Special attention
In coatings based on nitrocellulose, chlorinated rubber or polyvinyl chloride copolymers, these additives may cause discoloration. In silicate ester coatings, the construction period will be shortened. A higher addition amount will affect the construction time limit and curing reaction of the epoxy system. The amine value of this additive is relatively high, which will cause the viscosity of the epoxy resin to increase.
Storage and transportation
This product can be transported and stored as a non-hazardous chemical. Keep away from fire sources and store in a well-ventilated, cool and dry place. Stratification or turbidity may occur when the storage and transportation temperature is below 5 ° C. Heat to 20 °C and stir thoroughly. Shelf life: 36 months.
