CX-201

CX-201 is a silicone-free polymer defoamer for solvent-based and solvent-free systems, especially suitable for polyurethane and epoxy coatings.

Product advantages

Recommended for defoaming in solvent-free and solvent-based coatings, especially suitable for solvent-free polyurethane resins and epoxy floor coatings.
It is also suitable for defoaming of polyvinyl chloride plasticized sol-type sheet coatings.
It can prevent bubbles and pinholes.
Due to the incompatibility of this additive, its impact on the transparency of the varnish must be tested when in use.

Proposed dosage
The dosage of 0.1-1% of the additives (in the form of purchase) is based on the total formula. The above recommended addition amounts are for reference only. The optimal addition amount needs to be determined through a series of experiments.
Application area
CX-201 is particularly recommended for use in industrial coatings, coil coatings and protective coating systems, and is also recommended for can coatings and architectural coatings.
Processing instructions
To achieve the best defoaming effect, defoamers should be added to the grinding materials. If added later, there must be a sufficiently high shear force to ensure the good dispersion of the defoamer and prevent craters.
Storage and transportation
This product should be transported and stored as a hazardous chemical. Keep away from fire sources and store in a well-ventilated, cool and dry place. Shelf life: 36 months.
