CX-207

CX-207 is an organosilicon defoamer for solvent-based and solvent-free systems.

Product advantages

CX-207 is a highly efficient defoamer that achieves the best defoaming effect with the least incompatibility. The applicable base materials are: chlorinated rubber, epoxy, two-component polyurethane, alkyd/melamine, alkyd and self-crosslinking acrylate.

Proposed dosage
The percentage of additive usage (purchased form) is based on the total formula: 0.1% - 1%.
Application area
Recommended: solvent-based coatings, epoxy system coatings, wood and furniture coatings.
Applicable: Protective coatings, coil/can coatings.
Processing instructions
For the best performance, the defoamer should be added to the grinding material before grinding. If added in the later stage, there must be a sufficiently high shear force to ensure the good dispersion of the defoamer and prevent craters. The full effect of the defoamer can only be achieved 24 hours after it is added to the system.
Storage and transportation
This product should be transported and stored as a hazardous chemical. It should be placed in a cool and well-ventilated area, with the container kept tightly sealed and away from heat and fire sources. When the temperature is below 5°C, turbidity and stratification may occur. Shelf life: 36 months.
